Hi, I'm Kyle!

A few years ago I picked up a couple knitting needles, some yarn, and made a basic garter stitch scarf, with the help of online videos and references. I had no idea then what I was getting myself into...

Knitting led to dyeing, which led to spinning, and has now led to weaving. I recently obtained my first proper spinning wheel, and look forward to level up from my rigid heddle loom to a larger table or floor loom. I look forward to these things, but I'm also amazed at how much can be done with such relatively simple tools. With the drop spindle I have spun fiber into yarn that I have woven with. A second heddle on my loom allows more complicated patterns. There is so much to explore!

I love the positivity that I have found within the fiber arts community. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Let's discover what we can create together!
